Albrighton Parish Council award Grant Funding under section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972 and the monies is created under the annual precept
The Council consider grants 3 times yearly in May, September and January. The next grant applications to be considered are in September, completed applications need to be in to the Parish Council Office by 4th September 2024

Grants awarded by Albrighton Parish Council 

 
Albrighton Parish Council awards grants to local organisations and community groups to assist them to achieve their aims and objectives; and benefit the community of Albrighton.
 
We are pleased to have given the following Grants in quarter one:
➡ Red House Albrighton £2,850 towards 2024 activities: Summer Playscheme – £1900, OAP Christmas Lunch – £750 and Christmas Extravaganza – £200
➡ Albrighton Cricket Club £2500 towards a sit-on mower
➡ Albrighton Fayre £1500 towards the Summer Fayre
➡ Albrighton Flower Club £200 towards Demonstration Event
➡ Albrighton & District Swimming Club £2000 for the rental fees to open this Summer
➡ St Mary Magdalene Church, Albrighton  £420 towards cooling jackets for the Beer Festival

Albrighton Parish Council’s next Grant Meeting will be Thursday 26th October 2023 📅
If you would like to apply for a grant for your community group/voluntary organisation, please make sure you send your grant application in by Friday 20th October by 4pm at the LATEST ❗
Any Grants received after 4pm on 20th October will not be discussed until the next Grants Meeting in November 2023.
