Albrighton Parish Council employ a number of staff to help deliver services for and behalf of the community.
The role of the Clerk
The role of Clerk is appointed by the Parish Council, they have a legal responsibility to appoint an individual for the proper discharge of its functions and must ensure that one of its officers has the responsibility for the administration of its financial affairs. (LGA 1972, s. 112). This role is also referred to as the Proper Officer for the discharge of its statutory requirements and purposes.
