Albrighton Parish Council’s Coronation Gardens

Albrighton Parish Council’s Coronation Gardens

Albrighton Parish Council have a small piece of land which was formally part of the Allotments, this land has been left vacant for a while and to bring it back to life, the General Purpose Committee have been working hard to plan and organise a Coronation Garden to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and to bring life back to the empty space
On Wednesday, a number of children from St Mary’s Primary School, Albrighton Primary School, Birchfield School and Idsall School joined the Parish Council to help plant trees and create a bug hotel to encourage wildlife
We can’t thank the children enough for what a fantastic job they have done! We really appreciate their hard-work and enthusiasm to encourage wildlife and nature to bloom!
Special thanks go to all the teachers and teaching assistants from all four schools, Lucy Courtman from Idsall School who has been working closely with our Councillors, Councillors Wilmot and Pledger, Bob Watson who is the village tree expert, our Village Warden Kevin and everyone else who has helped to work on this fantastic space for the community
We are hopeful to officially open the Coronation Gardens in the Spring, so stay tuned for an update 😊
